The hospital’s 2025 rebrand and new website earn Gold at the 43rd Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards for making care easier to find in northeast Colorado
YUMA, Colo. — [June 19, 2026] — Across rural America, the local hospital is increasingly at risk — and when one closes, an entire community can lose its nearest source of care. In northeast Colorado, Yuma District Hospital & Clinics is moving in the opposite direction, investing in its identity, its patients and its future. The hospital’s 2025 rebrand, including a redesigned website built to make care easier to find, has now earned national recognition.
Yuma District Hospital & Clinics’ 2025 rebrand was named a Gold winner in the Website category of the 43rd Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, the oldest and largest competition dedicated exclusively to healthcare marketing. The new brand and website were designed to make it simpler for patients across Yuma and Akron to find information, schedule appointments and access services — reinforcing the hospital’s role as a modern, community-focused provider rooted in its “Yuma Experience” promise of personalized care close to home.
The work comes at a precarious moment for rural health care. According to the Chartis Center for Rural Health, 46 percent of rural hospitals are operating with negative margins and more than 430 are considered vulnerable to closure — even as more than 46 million Americans depend on them for care. For the communities these hospitals serve, the difference between a short drive and a long one can be measured in lives. As a 15-bed critical access hospital, Yuma District Hospital & Clinics is a lifeline for its region, and its investment in accessibility reflects a commitment to remaining one.
“A refreshed look might seem like a small thing, but for us it represents something much bigger — our commitment to staying, growing and making care easier to reach for the people who count on us,” said Anne Kreutzer, chief executive officer of Yuma District Hospital & Clinics. “Our neighbors shouldn’t have to leave their community to find excellent care, and everything we do is in service of keeping it close to home.”
The 2025 rebrand was developed in partnership with Yuma District Hospital & Clinics’ marketing agency, Onspire Health Marketing.
