About
Dr. Wirges brings over 30 years of experience in Family Practice with Obstetrics to Yuma Hospital & Clinics. She is passionate about providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages, with particular expertise in women’s health and pediatrics.
Dr. Wirges believes her small-town upbringing shaped her approach to medicine, emphasizing compassionate, personalized care for individuals and families. After taking two years to focus on family, she is excited to return to her calling of serving patients in a community setting.
Beyond her medical practice, Dr. Wirges is actively involved in community initiatives including serving as President of the Parish Council of Catholic Women, supporting various fundraising efforts for children’s programs, and participating in the Walking with Moms in Need project. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three sons, sewing, gardening, and reading.
