Dr. McLaughlin brings a diverse background to his medical practice, having worked in corporate finance in Chicago and humanitarian work in Ecuador before pursuing medicine. After completing his medical education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, he returned to his home state of Colorado for his Family Medicine residency at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins.
With experience as both a hospitalist and pediatric urgent care provider, Dr. McLaughlin offers comprehensive care for patients of all ages. His fluency in Spanish allows him to provide culturally sensitive care to Spanish-speaking patients.
As a recipient of the Gold Humanism Award and the “Greatest of All Time” award during his residency, Dr. McLaughlin is recognized for his exceptional patient care and commitment to the medical profession. He is passionate about working collaboratively with patients to help them achieve their health goals and enjoy life to its fullest.
When not seeing patients, Dr. McLaughlin enjoys exploring the Colorado mountains with his wife and teenage son, whether hiking in summer or skiing in winter. He looks forward to becoming an active member of the Yuma community both in and outside of the medical setting.
