Dr. Erik Bowman is an orthopedic surgeon who brings specialized bone and joint care right here to Yuma. Before joining our community, Dr. Bowman practiced at Boulder Centre, but he is excited to provide care that previously might have required long trips to larger cities.
Dr. Bowman treats all kinds of bone, joint, and muscle problems—from sports injuries and farm accidents to arthritis and everyday aches and pains. He understands the importance of keeping people active, whether that means getting back to ranching, working at local businesses, participating in high school sports, or simply enjoying daily activities without pain.
What makes Dr. Bowman special is his practical approach. He knows that folks in our community need straightforward solutions and reasonable recovery times. He’ll always try non-surgical treatments first when possible and explain all options in plain language. And if surgery is needed, he offers procedures like joint replacements and arthroscopic surgeries right here close to home.
