Job Requirements:

Job Duties:

• Ensure Quality pre-operative and post-operative assessment, evaluation, planning, and implementation to surgical patients through compliance with the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) standards and policies.
• Formulation of nursing diagnosis and development of a plan of care for surgical patients while engaging in standards of care that meets customer needs and expectations.
• Work cooperatively with all Surgical Services and YDHC staff to provide an environment of care conducive to a delivery of care that meets all patient needs.

Schedule: Regular Full-Time (30+ hours per week), Monday – Friday (Day Shift)

Primary Duties: Prevents hospital associated infections by following evidence-based protocols to clean and disinfect the environment and medical equipment; assist with Operating Room (OR) turnover.

Primary responsibilities will be in the Surgical Services area; however, this position will support environmental services needs in other areas of the facility as needed.
