Job Requirements:

Job Duties:

• Ensure Quality pre-operative and post-operative assessment, evaluation, planning, and implementation to surgical patients through compliance with the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) standards and policies.
• Formulation of nursing diagnosis and development of a plan of care for surgical patients while engaging in standards of care that meets customer needs and expectations.
• Work cooperatively with all Surgical Services and YDHC staff to provide an environment of care conducive to a delivery of care that meets all patient needs.

Responsibilities:

The Plant & Facilities Technician is responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of the facilities and production equipment, grounds maintenance, conducting preventative maintenance tasks, and organizing and maintaining a catalogued inventory of necessary spare parts all while adhering to plant safety standards.

The Facilities & Maintenance Technician must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. They must be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a plant, facilities, and/or maintenance technician.
• Excellent knowledge of machinery, electrical and other systems, and their components.
• Aptitude in using various hand tools and precision measurement tools.
• Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instructions, blueprints, etc.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Valid certification (e.g. ASE) is preferred.
