Job Requirements:

- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is recommended.
Job Duties:
- Ensure Quality pre-operative and post-operative assessment, evaluation, planning, and implementation to surgical patients through compliance with the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) standards and policies.
- Formulation of nursing diagnosis and development of a plan of care for surgical patients while engaging in standards of care that meets customer needs and expectations.
- Work cooperatively with all Surgical Services and YDHC staff to provide an environment of care conducive to a delivery of care that meets all patient needs.
